Use the best of design methodology to solve business challenges
We use design best practices to understand, find solutions and validate the key success factor of a business challenge before preparing larger scale deployment. We create an iterative dynamic with small and fast steps, not only for UI design but for the whole items involve into the user experience. Our goal is to experiment in a controlled environment in order to transform hypothesis into analyzable data.
Design Thinking is a methodology inspired by design used in ideation and development of digital solutions . Design thinking describes a human-centered, iterative design process, consisting of 5 key steps—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. Design thinking is useful in tackling problems that are ill-defined or unknown, context especially common in digital projects and services.
The five stages of design thinking allow to verify hypothesis and provide an ongoing optimization. This methodology is based on constant experimentation before mobilizing large scale ressources.
Empathize in Design Thinking
The first stage of the Design Thinking process requires an empathic understanding of the problem. User research is a key factor to get rock-solid material to gain insight into users and their needs. This stage involves trying to understand the users and “put in their shoes” as much as possible.
Define in Design Thinking
During the Define stage of Design Thinking, all the data created and gathered during the Empathize stage are assembled and analyzed to determine the core problems that users meet. The object is to highlight and have a global view of all the properties of the users’ needs.
Ideate in Design Thinking
Thanks to the knowledge gathered in the first two phases, the Ideate stage consists of identifying solutions to the problem statement. It is possible to start looking for alternative ways of viewing the problem and then finding out-of-the-box solutions.
Prototype in Design Thinking
In the Prototype phase of Design Thinking, the goal is to produce a number of inexpensive, scaled-down versions of the product or specific features found within the product. The purpose is to investigate the problem and solutions generated in the previous stage.
Test in Design Thinking
In the Test phase of Design Thinking, you rigorously test the completed product using the best solutions identified during the prototyping phase. This is the final stage. However, in an iterative process, the results generated during the testing phase are also what you will often use to redefine one or more problems.
